TEMPORARY PAVILION AND MARYLEBONE HALL BUILDING PROJECT

The two projects presented here are located in the Marylebone, London area. The first project consists of a temporary pavilion aimed at children's learning about the different environmental sounds of the urban area (car horn, traffic, road construction) and the park's sounds, Paddington Garden, where the pavilion is located. External sounds reach the pavilion's interior through holes of different diameters made in the cardboard and polymethacrylate tubes that form the structure of the pavilion. The second project consists of modifying different spaces in a student residence building adjacent to the University of Westminster. This modification that is presented corresponds to the last and penultimate floor of the building. This transformation aims to achieve greater comfort for residents based on green spaces and areas open to natural light structured on different levels interconnected with each other.
