CREATING SAFER URBAN SPACES

This project focuses on antisocial behaviour in Cantium Retail park, Old Kent Roa, Southwark. Following the theories of Jane Jacobs and social and architectural percents around the world, I aim to create a safer urban environment which accommodates the current residents and incorporate mixed land use into my masterplan. To encourage integration in the community, I designed a community center which acts as a social space and an outreach center for those affected by antisocial behaviour.
