ART AND NATURAL CENTRE AT PMQ IN HONG KONG

by Kwan Yin Lam

The project is situated in Hong Kong in the PMQ Building and is driven by the concepts of nature and a mixture of Western and Asian art. The shapes designed carry the meaning and symbolism from natural elements such as the co-existence between bird species and cage-like structures. Environmentally friendly, these interior spaces create a critical and creative design response to the use of minimum available space in a highly inhabited city such as Hong Kong.
