BALAT PHOTOGRAPHY LIGHT HOUSE

This proposal is a photography learning centre which uses various forms of ‘light to engage visitors, situated in Balat,Istanbul,Turkey. By providing a public space inspired by the ancient Greek ‘agora’, both for students and visitors, the project aims at bringing together a variety of social groups to enhance students’ connection with their local community and city tourists and give the opportunity of sharing experiences and exchanging knowledge.
