ACTIVATED VOIDS

The proposal challenges the status quo of the educational facilities and speculates on the model of education in the post-covid period. Diverse types of individual study spaces, classes, and shared areas with embedded forms of technology and applications, put forward a flexible way of operating and furthering the future of pedagogy. Situated at the Macka area in Istanbul, the site becomes a part of Istanbul’s Technical University, one of the oldest universities in Turkey.
