PECKHAM REMAKERY

Peckham Remakery is a chair and table workshop aimed at youths aged 11-18. The workshop allows the opportunity for everyone in the community to be involved as sessions and courses are free. The workshop is an opportunity for the younger demographic of Peckham to gain designs and making skills, which would help in the long term for students who need to create portfolio of works, or just for future employment. Upcycling is the workshop main focus, using the city’s waste and incorporating that into the workshop to create bespoke furniture’s. Overall Peckham has a large number of creative individuals, and this workshop would open more creative branches within the community.
