THE CULTURE HUB

This project transforms an abandoned bus station in Central Milton Keynes into a cultural hub for its surrounding community. The main concept of this proposal is to bring a new lease of life to the site by bringing the public into the space. A variety of cultural activities including skateboarding, skateboard making, street performances, art contests, film festivals, chess and reading will engage local communities in a space with a panoramic view. This will enhance the city’s culture, while turning the existing brutalist structure into a welcoming and engaging experience for the visitors.
