PECKHAM PAPERHOUSE

The project is based on the concept of circular economy, using Peckham as the site. The building invites people to explore the alternative uses of unwanted and waste paper primarily by being transformed into the construction material Paperwood. The proposal also includes community workshop spaces promoting the use of CNC and CAD where local people can design their own furniture out of Paperwood. The facade of the building is designed to look like shredded papers, allowing the sunlight to pass through the tiny gaps.
