My project proposal was to create bioplastic packaging from food waste, specifically corn. Collected from local restaurants and markets, cornstarch would be extracted from defective corn as a key ingredient. To exclusively package coffee beans to be sold at the cafe. Creating a communal space for Peckham to enjoy, next to the Peckham Arch. Which compensates as the drying room due to minimal space, therefore manipulating the circulation of the building to be guided by an abundance of staircases. Hanging bioplastic would glide across the Arch for people to see from below, exhibiting a spectacular feature to charm Peckham's inhabitants.
