This cultural hub for the Persian diaspora looks to Persian-inspired landscapes through new readings of the forms and motifs. The proposal concerns exploring gathering spaces and dissent through a political lens and the designed routes simultaneously map movement by constantly grouping and re-grouping the users’ paths that result in specific congregation spaces. These seemingly chaotic patterns are explored as forms of protest and dissent that contrasts with the calm therapeutic interiors. This manipulation of narrative through architectural spaces is a consistent theme throughout the project where artistic activities are used as therapeutic devices to enhance mental health and wellbeing
