UNDERWATER STUDY

by Tanicia Silva

The project consists of an aquarium and a study space located in tower hamlets at George Tavern. The purpose of connecting an aquarium with a study space is to assist students and working adults in reliving stress and focusing on their work. In addition to providing a study environment, the building can also be used for entertainment, education, animal health, and scientific research. There are different zones of the ocean represented on each floor of the building. The first thing you do upon entering the building is proceed straight to the third floor, which contains animals from the topmost layer of the ocean, while the first floor represents the lower layer of the ocean. A quiet study area is located on the ground floor.
