The project name, Sensory Channel is inspired by the site geographical location as it is situated on the coastal areas and Wantsumville providing settlements to the Refugees and Asylum seekers who come through boats as the word coins as channel projects proposes to give then a channel to meet the luxury of perfume. To address the issue of importing perfume project aims to produce natural perfume locally and provide employment to the residents The ability to view the Sensory Channel processes from wantsumville seeks to engage with residents and prisoners in an educational way, and encourage them to make connections between local production and consumption. This raises the awareness of the damaging impacts of our global consumer culture, and encourages users to lead a more sustainable lifestyle that is mindful of pollution. Sensory Channel also address the mental health of the local and residents of the community by providing meaning gardens that enriches the sense and maintains the well-being of the people rather than a patch of green open spaces. The essential oils that are produced from Indian spices are used for the treatment in Aromatherapy with in Sensory Channel
