SHELTERED CLOUDSCAPE

"SHELTERED CLOUDSCAPE " is a project designed to bring together street children who have been separated from their families and left to fend for themselves. The site is a large pit, offering safety and privacy to the children, with most of the structures hidden under the ground level. The central picnic area is the most communal space and is surrounded by different functional areas, including dining areas split into four parts, tea and snack areas, and areas for eating alone. Sleeping units are scattered around the pit to provide relative privacy while promoting interaction. The living mood is designed to be small groups to encourage a sense of community. The sleeping units are designed to be inflatable for flexibility in adding or removing units as needed. The overall design of the project is meant to be intense and random to create a sense of excitement and adventure for the children. The project aims to provide street children with safety, community, and hope for a better future.
