CONSTRUCTION LEARNING CENTRE 'RIVER LEA'

The project delivers self-build workshops build in 5 phases over four years. The focus of the Learning Centre is to provide workshops for young students or workers interested in requalification on various construction jobs such as carpentry, bricklaying, scaffolding and more. During Phase 1 would build 4 timber frame buildings over 18 months where the masonry course will be explored. Also, students will be able to experience and be part of the brick collection from the surrounding construction sites and gain skills to turn the used bricks into reclaimed.
