REVIVAL HOUSE

This project proposal is a wellness center, structured around the principles of the biopsychosocial model of psychology and programmed accordingly. It holds itself as a critical and contrasting monumental island, in the center of New Bond Street; an area in London that has been developing into an urban space that reflects modern-day toxicity, individuals are experiencing stress, anxiety and depression. The center aims to help the visitors by leaning towards the three core elements of humans: the biological part, the social part, and the psychological part. The structure and the design of the center also reflect the biopsychosocial function of this proposal. The ground floor, designed with euclidean(simple) geometry, starts with the body, representing the bio part, helping visitors reconnect with their physical and whole selves, through activities. The first floor, evolving into a parabolic design, represents the social part, functioning as a communal healthy eating area. The top floor, designed with fractal(complex) geometry represents our psychological part and will be the last stage, offering individual and group therapy to the visitors.
