The concept of HOMELESS is what led this proposal. In this project I have defined homeless as people who are in need of a home away from home, people who are in constant movement. When deciding on the concept of my design, I took a look at the site & surroundings and aimed to compliment what was already there. I noticed that the site was mainly made up of corporate buildings, so I wanted to create something for workers running low on energy. My focus was on giving the user a place to escape the busy metropolitan. After hours of working up in the office workers have an opportunity to recharge and refuel just by stepping into The Haven. The underworld is a peaceful environment, an underground garden with a mission of inducing sleep, with an area accommodating sleeping pods. Whether users need a few minutes to themselves or want to lay their heads to rest for a few hours, The Haven accommodates all needs.
