FINSBURY FAMILIES

‘Finsbury Families’ is a communal kitchen for the tenants of the sleeping units on Broadsgate site. The tenants are families who have been evicted from their previous homes and have deemed ‘homeless’ under The Housing Act 1996. These families can come and enjoy/cook a meal together or perhaps just eat with their own families, with access to excellent facilities and equipment. On the lowest floor of the refectory, adults and their children can engage in a range of activities within the playground. This includes rock climbing, climbing the frames, playing in the sandpit, conversing on the ‘amphitheatre-like’ stairs, swim, hire the Jacuzzis, or peddle about on the boats.
