The Walled Gardens of Sky is located at Tel Aviv-Yafo situated on the Mediterranean coastal line and aims to draw attention to the invisible communities. It unveils the berried archaeological traces of the old fishing village of Manshiya to form the garden and reactivate the coastal edge by connecting the old city of Jaffa(Yafo) to Tel Aviv (new parts of the city). The Walled Gardens of the Sky brings back the spirits, traces of oranges and lost cultures to the city to create a self-sufficient educational form of collective living that is inspired and formed around the past rituals. The design elements of the garden are inspired by the crafts and skills of its habitats and enable the to be built collectively from locally sourced and grown materials on site to enhance the design's environmental and ecosystem aspects. The Garden will allow growth, by reconnecting the habitants with the land the sea and the sky.
