The Ecological Local Museum and Research Centre in Antwerp’s port region promotes conservation and education initiatives focused on the local ecosystem. It includes a Fossil Exhibition Hall highlighting local fossil animals and a Diorama Exhibition Hall showcasing marine life, birds, floras, and faunas. Immersive exhibits disseminate scientific findings and inspire environmental protection. The museum features a mini greenhouse, reception area, gift shop, cafe, and panoramic observatory. The research centre offers programs, seminars, laboratories, and a research library for collaboration and biodiversity preservation. The eco-friendly structure uses local timber, stone, and green roofs, with redesigned landscapes and pathways.
