From the tales of courageous seafarers to the exploration of ancient trade routes, the project presents a comprehensive narrative of Southend-on-Sea's transformation over time. With each artifact carefully selected and displayed, Southend Submerged aims to preserve and share the unique stories embedded within them. However, Southend Submerged is more than just a museum. It serves as a community hub, actively engaging individuals through workshops, educational programs, and exciting community events.
