SIT STEEL

Sit Steel is an avant-garde concept store, designed for fashion house Kepler London. The space delivers a juxtaposition between soft and hard through its fluid steel figures and imposing aluminium screens, in accordance with Kepler’s airy and aqueous embroidered designs. The eye-catcher of the concept, the 4-5 meter tall steel figures are draped over aluminium screens, holding them up. Overall creating an orchestra of silhouettes imitating the unique body positions of Kepler’s models.The relationship between hand made and manufactured, the relationship between Earth’s natural materials and those that are man-made. Sit Steel finds itself as a futuristic, fully metallic space and partial stranger to Earth’s natural components. Thus, complementing the Kepler designs, their soft and organic nature are cousin to features of Sit Steel.
