NAPLE'S WASTE SYMBIOSIS

The coastal shores of the great city of Naples are battered with landfills caused by poor waste management which's protagonist is the criminal organization Camorra: the true Eco-Mafia. Operating the illegal waste management through unscrupulous techniques as part of the ‘Golden Journey’ (the lucrative route comprised of designated dump spots), Naple’s typologies of water and land are severely polluted as a result of. The proposal sees the development of an architectural intervention to combat the issue at hand through efficient waste collection and recycling methods, becoming a pivot of the Journey rather than bring an end to it.
