His research interests cover topics aligned with sustainability in design and include low energy strategies; culture and heritage in sustainable built environment; users’ spatial experience focused design and issues of rapid urbanisation/globalisation and their impact on cities.

Tabatha Mills

Tabatha is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader at Westminster where she has taught for 15 years. With a plethora of industry experience as a practicing Architectural Technologist, she established her own studio in 2005. Her research focuses on passive design and technical solutions, embedding inclusivity into AT education and practice, and timber construction in medium and high-rise residential buildings.

Adam Thwaites

Adam is a passionate advocate of Architectural Technology as a distinct profession. Adam is a Senior Lecturer and worked for a series of architectural practices prior to moving into education. His interests include the use of CLT timber in medium and high-rise building construction; using vegetation to mitigate air pollution in cities; energy efficiency and sustainable construction methods.
