CULTIVATING COMMUNITY PERMACULTURE FARM

by Roza Hassan

Cultivating community permaculture farm, allows for residents/ farmers to tend to the farm and benefit from the food produced; sold in markets for locals to buy for affordable prices. This reduces overall carbon footprint, as well as helping families struggling with living costs. The farm itself, uses technique and practices such as the combination of wildlife gardening, edible landscaping, and native plant cultivation into one maintenance. This farm will improve and support local ecosystems, interacting with residents as well.
