AQUAFARM

by Elizabeta Diakantonis

Gardening has been a way of curing stress for many years, going out into nature has been encouraged to help keep us grounded and healthier. In an urban context where people have lost that touch with nature, it’s important to increase that green space, especially for children. Aquaponics can be a solution to bring sensory gardens for children in urban areas, and a way to remind us where our food comes from. AquaFarm is a community farm and a sensory garden which does just that and grows fresh vegetables and fish.
