THE ALLY PALLY MILE - ALEXANDRA PALACE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

“Celebrating and exhibiting the daily life of contemporary working horses beyond the racetrack, in a uniquely urban environment.” The Alexandra Palace Equestrian Centre focuses on bringing together the local community around the Palace’s heritage of horse racing. This is achieved through three programmes – a riding school for recreational community users, an educational college for students to develop human-equine partnerships, and a medical centre for horse’s wellbeing and welfare. Additional design features include the integration of public pathways to exhibit daily life to park users, and environmental program like the water-cycling system for the horses.
