Space debris is an ever growing problem that will come to destroy communication around the world. The project - an educational satellite tracking facility, designed to sit within Crystal Palace Park. It will help to track defunct satellites, whilst teaching the general public about this unseen threat. The facility will house the UK’s second largest radio telescope which will allow for more accurate tracking of the world’s satellites (Creative Commons Attribution, 2021). Scientists have spaces to develop an understanding of the routes and directions the satellites may be taking. This information will be passed onto external facilities who will work to retrieve the obsolete orbital debris still circling earth. A cafe/restaurant is also introduced to the site which will allow visitors to attend during moonlight hours and give them an opportunity to move around the site via the moons orbit.
