Being the “Gateway to the Thames”, Gravesend is in a strategic place to be a hub for creativity and innovation. As a part of community regeneration, the Gateway Makers Market will reinvent the former Goods Yard of Gravesend Station into a place that fosters creativity, sustainability, public engagement and entrepreneurship. This will hopefully help revive the ailing High Street and the town that has seen catastrophic decline in recent times. It will also enhance connectivity and encourage people to visit Gravesend. As a part of the levelling-up agenda, it’s time to become a country of makers again!
