The charity Latin American House offers many services and opportunities to its Kilburn community: from in person English lessons to plastic upcycling community workshops. Therefore, creating an open space where easy access is provided to these services and to the charity in general is vital. The project focuses on enhancing Latin American House’s direct relationship with the Kilburn community by removing barriers between them- the ground floor facades. A courtyard made from bricks from the existing facades is created for the community and new visitors to come together and proudly claim a space where they can interact with each other and share common ground.
