The aim of this project is to introduce a new structure in a low-rise residential area in Bermondsey which will connect the neighbouring homes and provide spaces for communal living. Together with this, 6 private studio modules will be added to the site, at the top floor of the structure, in order to allow for new inhabitants and to aid in changing the dynamic of the human interactions within the building. The main focus of the project is the creation of gathering spaces that encourage prolongued human interaction, such as communal cooking, dining and living areas.

This video depicts different dynamics in the inhabitation of the communal spaces provided by the new structure on Tranton Road, Bermondsey, together with the newly created 'hearth' areas for cooking, dining and gathering around.
