by Ayokunle Ambali

The centre of Finance and Reciprocity explores the extents of the stacks can be pushed whilst still conveying a sense of stability to the audience. This proposal consists of two towers, one housing a major financial company providing bank and financial technology services, the other housing small companies ranging within the finance and technology sector.
The aim of the proposal is to establish a sense of reliability through the effect of stability to encourage collaboration between start-ups and small firms with a much larger company using architectural devices.
In addition to building reliable relations between the towers, the idea of ‘Give and Take’ is what links the towers using the Counter-Object. This will then direct users away from the intense working environment to the balconies and compartmentalised social areas located at the sides of the ‘stacked’ proposal. These break out spaces consist of bars, a small karaoke section and catering- done so the encourage establishing connections between the users of both towers.
