AN UNORTHODOX ADVENTURE WITH NATURE

by Grace Izinyon

An intergenerational scheme that takes a step further to unite man’s relationship with nature in a new way.
The building encloses an internal garden that connects all the users together, allowing them to walk through treetops as they access their dwelling and create their own journeys with nature within the building. The co-living allows users of different backgrounds and generations to have a more intimate experience with nature and each other. By sharing intimate spaces such as their bedrooms and a bathhouse, the residents are able to build stronger communities with each other. Within their bed’s users are surrounded by imposing plants & direct view of the sky making this the last scene they see before they go to sleep and first thing when they wake up. Rocky walls contrasting wooden beds blurs the line between the artificial and man-made elements.
