MOTION MALL: UNVEILING ELECTRONICS

by Hasan Jamshed

Shenzhen is renowned for electronic consumer goods, the launch of new products are celebrated within the retail districts. Retail malls arrange stores in a mix cluster that unveils different points of attraction and retail stores. Purchase speed varies from retailers using displays of entertainment, engaging casual consumers to new technological goods, to consumers who are enthusiasts, where exchanges are rapid. Could this notion of purchase speed and retail clusters be curated to create control the speed of the retail experience, exposing new opportunities?

The proposal formulates the curation of retail stores in clusters surrounding an entertainment anchor, arranged within a concentric loop experience to have an ever changing point of orientation and reference to the stores within, creating a motion parallax effect, controlling the speed the consumer engages with the stores in a new retail environment.
