GEODE CO-WORKING CENTRE

by Han Yang

The Geode is a primitive mineral stone. The exterior is very similar to other rocks, but the interior is full of surprising crystals, which is in line with the purpose and design of the project.
The project is to bring people closer together by using the effects of architectural design to enhance primal human intimacy, such as interaction, sharing, and trust. The effect I am interested in is how the design evokes several emotions of the primitive period, such as curiosity about the unknown, closeness to strangers, sharing for survival and development.
The dialogue between the project and the people is that Porosity will allow users in different locations to see different views, which is curiosity. Subtraction is being close to the people around you in the physical space, and transparency is being willing to share after reaching a certain level of closeness. All the connecting points are people.
