by Diana Umiarova

A project called IVMeat (In vitro meat) based on future trends. In vitro meat is a new technology that produces animal meat for consumption from animal cells but doesn't require a living animal to produce it. The facade of the building partially repeats the pattern of the muscle cells of the meat under the microscope. Furthermore, it’s partially made by ETFE, on the ground floor near the window there is a refrigerator with lab-grown meat, thus it can attract people to look inside. The interior design is very fresh and clean, the atmosphere of the future in the laboratory. Clients are visitors to the Tachbrook market, as well as people who want to try a new experience. Also, potential clients may be vegetarians who do not eat meat because of unethical treatment of animals. There is a kindergarten school nearby of the site and children can also have experience with scientists. The market is the most represent fruits and vegetables, project IVMeat will be able to bring a new experience for people and invite them to immerse themselves in the world of science. Also, clients can investigate the lab and scientists will help them investigate deeper into the laboratory meat development.
