COMPANIONSHIP: A HUMAN-EQUINE BOND

by Halima Ahmed

Due to no motorised transport people now rely again on horses. However, there has been a change in the dynamics of the horse human relationship. Instead of solely using the horses for their needs, humans have begun to bond with horses. Horses are now treated as equals and companions with a relationship built on trust and friendship. This proposal focuses on creating a journey through a space in order to help the horse and human bond. This is a sensory experience and involves a series of changes throughout the journey, helping to build a bond through sound, touch, vision and emotion.
