AYLESBURY-ON-SEA

by Callum Bleasdale

Aylesbury-On-Sea is a community built from the remnants of a ‘sink estate’ currently facing demolition in Southwark, London. Residents living in the scheme will be encouraged to participate in the industrial production of bio-fuel by farming seaweed in the North Sea to be converted to electricity by the anaerobic digestion plant on site. The electricity produced will be sold to boats and used to power Dogger Island’s monorail.
