The Cava Focolaccia Sculptors Refuge is a studio of sculpture and craft, located in a disused marble quarry in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. A space that is both practical for use and making the most of the physical beauty of the area of the disused quarry. An example of what can be achieved architectrually and sustainablty in a challenging alpine environment.
