COURTYARDS AMONGST THE CLOUDS

Providing homes for students that bring the whole neighbourhood together by creating a welcoming and easy accessible ground floor that ranges from a restaurant to a communal library and to more communal/public areas. I have adapted two types of shared spaces on my project which is flexible under crafts depending on the weather conditions of Beijing and courtyards that mediate the entrances which connect to the cores of the building. Its a student dwelling type accommodation, redesigning the idea of sharing.
