A PAINT BOX' - THE COMBINATION OF SPORTS AND ARTS

This project is a proposal for a ‘paint box’ that combines art and sports in Talacre/Kentish Town, United Kingdom. The purpose of the project is to encourage people to be a more active. The building is an extension placed over an existing building (Talacre community sport centre), the proposal provides multiple activties and also an exhibit where the public can visit and view from openings in the exteri- or.This idea is a response to the client (Camden Council) ‘building back better’ and to make the area a more ‘fun and active space’ Combining arts and sports together is a con- cept that encourages people with different in- terests. It is also a form of therapy and self ex- pression. The building has a contrast of corten steel and colourful interior.
