MY PAPER MEWS

by Nanina Rainer

No3 Hansard Mews in Kensington is the house I was given to redesign internally to fit the needs of my maker. The requirements for each of our makers were that their hobby/occupation should influence/fit into the design of the home as-well as be related to bettering the environment, be it through recycling, reusing or up cycling materials or products. The maker I decided on was someone who recycles used paper and creates fresh sheets of paper again. I wanted to incorporate the natural feel of paper and its unique patterns and structure to be mirrored throughout the house. The images presented are snippets from my final portfolio that demonstrate my photoshop skills ,some of the concept models I created as well as research conducted to better understand my makers needs.
