INTERGENERATIONAL DAY CENTRE

This landscape focused project explores tectonics based on a linear and circular grid. It is a continuation of the first semester project which explores meeting spaces, inspired by the landscape of Gravesend and Cliffe. It is a design in which the children and elderly are encouraged to interact together on a regular basis. The model experimentation is a look at different forms and possibilities which result in a unique playscape. The slope of the site is celebrated and manipulated to achieve different depths in which the landscape elements sit on.
