OPEN TV STUDIO FOR POLITICAL DEBATE WITH A MEDIA FACILITY

by ECEM KARAAGAC

On the site of Alexandra Palace, the proposal aims to create an open television studio and a media centre for political debate programmes. The Palace, which hosted the BBC's first television studio, transmitted the first signal from the London Television Station. This project's conception was informed by the BBC show "Question Time." The open television studio is meant to function in all four seasons and provides a panoramic view of the audience. In contrast, the media centre is integrated into the land, and a green roof was considered for public circulation and continuity of the terrain.
