INSPIRE COMMUNITY CENTRE

Second semester had as main focus the communities of Elephant and Castle, my client being the InSpire, located at the crypt of St. Peter's Church. Being a charitable and non-religious facility for local residents my project is focused on maximising their needs and the relationship with the community while creating a welcoming yet unique building. The "InSpire Community Centre" will host all their workshops and clubs such as cooking, arts and media, sports, cycling and youth club. Sustainability wise, my project is made out of CLT and LVL with movable polycarbonate sheets that obstruct the light, heat and noise.
