by Abdallah Elhaj

The proposed intervention is located in the north-western area of the Newham borough. The proposed building is intended for a diverse age range of users from children’s library, to freelancers and commencing businesses, to a recreational communal zone for the elderly. To create an acoustically air-purifying prototype to minimize excessive noise pollution and long-term air pollution fluxes. From a children’s library to freelancers and start-up firms to a recreational communal zone for the elderly, the proposed building is designed for a varied age range of users. The building aims to mitigate the prevalence of NOX particles aided by the manipulation of wind to maximise the building performance through the geometry, while simultaneously dampening the majority of anthropogenic noise pollution.
