The project acts as a living symbiosis between neighboring projects but also within itself. Using Gracilaria, a red type of seaweed, gelatine is harvested as a byproduct. This is then formed into pleasing shapes of pasta, thus the name. The gelatine acts as a binding agent in the creation of Oystershell concrete. The project runs throughout the entire site, cutting through neighboring projects and connecting two waterfronts where the seaweed satellite farms are situated. In this linear factory, byproducts of the site are collected and used as additions and ingredients for the newly created Coryton Pasta. The project has a playful character , elevated off the ground and thus creating interesting spaces above other projects.
