FABLASTICS DEN

by Jenan Rachid

Fablastics den, a place where you can turn plastic waste into arts and crafts and recycled fashion fabric. Enjoy the hands on educational experience of transforming plastic into shreds and designing your own garments from the resulting polyester yarn through embroidery and hand stitching . All this while being able to enjoy a coffee or a snack from the ground floor cafe and vibe with a welcoming community and enjoy the indoor greenhouse garden and the overlooking view from the interior public balcony. My project includes a second floor living space for 2 drapers that are helping hands in the workshop below. The project itself is created from recyclable and sustainable materials that work together to bring an outstanding image to it from its surrounding building theme of brick, it sits at the heart of a busy street gaining onlookers interest through its glass facade from many directions.
