DELIVEROO URBAN BOTHY & A HOUSE FOR A COLLECTOR OF CORKSCREWS

by Eridona Kurtaj

My projects over the first year have included designing an urban bothy for deliveroo cyclists and also a house for a collector of corkscrews. I designed a space with specific programmes relating to two main clients; one being a place of study and one being a more social open space, where they can enjoy the view. My collector’s house features a corkscrew design throughout the house, a small scale wine production and also a wine bar. On top of these, there is also the living space for the family on the first floor. The most appealing aspect of my design is a massive corkscrew running through the house providing light and movement, and thus creating an atmosphere in relation to mechanics; corkscrews.
