For my Des1A project, I added an extension to my client's bedroom, as he needed a place to cultivate 15 chickens. Due to him being a free-range egg producer, he needed both a space to work and live. A key part of my design was giving chickens the same amount of privacy that my client would have. Throughout this project, I aimed to incorporate as many sustainable materials as I could, such as the use of up-cycled pallets and straw for the extension. For my Des1B project, I created a soup-making kitchen and after-school homework and a quasi-social club for people in the local area. The goal of the project was to bring together refugees and existing communities together so that individuals could learn new skills that may help them in life. Another aim of my project was to give children a safe space that they could visit whenever they wanted, be it to get some help with homework or to make friends
