The project consists of two buildings: the Mathematical House and the College of Natural Philosophy. The former has been designed so that it bears resemblance to its occupant’s digital art, not only in form and spatial quality, but the feeling of discomfort as well. Moreover, the confusing nature of the inside acts as a barrier between public and private space, with only the occupant knowing the correct sequence of steps it takes to get to the top of the tower without getting lost. The latter aims to resurrect an old piece of architecture, both literally and figuratively. This is achieved by both, casting a part of resurrected architecture in resin, as well as using its original layout to inform new public and private spaces.
